Purposes of Personal Data Processing:

  • NetPro processes personal data for the following purposes:
  • To identify and serve the client;
  • To prepare and conclude contracts;
  • To deliver goods and provide services;
  • For advertising and distribution of goods for commercial purposes;
  • To review and process complaints;
  • To administer payments;
  • To fulfill obligations specified by regulatory acts.

Legal Basis for Personal Data Processing:

  • NetPro processes client personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation based on the following legal grounds:
  • To provide services and sell goods – for the purpose of identifying and serving the client, concluding contracts, and fulfilling orders for goods and services;
  • To fulfill regulatory obligations – to comply with mandatory external regulatory requirements;
  • To protect legitimate interests, i.e., to ensure NetPro’s legitimate commercial activities;
  • Based on the client’s consent.

Recipients of Personal Data:

NetPro does not disclose client personal data or any information obtained during contract execution, service provision, or sale of goods to third parties, except:

  • When it is necessary to transfer data to a third party for the execution of a contract with the client, provision of services, or sale of goods, or for the fulfillment of a legally delegated function:
  1. To a credit institution or payment system for payment processing or fraud prevention and detection;
  2. To a delivery service company for making deliveries;
  3. For the purpose of providing specific services, your personal data may be transferred to other service providers, such as website hosting providers, email service providers, quality assessment service providers, direct marketing service providers, accounting service providers, and data protection officer service providers.
  • To persons specified in external regulatory acts upon their justified request (e.g., law enforcement authorities);
  • To protect NetPro’s legitimate interests in accordance with regulatory acts (e.g., by addressing the court or other state institutions).

Data Storage Period:

  • NetPro stores and processes client personal data as long as at least one of the following criteria is met:
  • The contract with the client or another document confirming the sale of goods/services is in effect;
  • NetPro or the client can exercise their legitimate interests;
  • One of the parties has a legal obligation to store the data;
  • The client’s consent for data storage is in effect (applies only in cases where there is no other legal basis for data storage).

After the above criteria are no longer met, the client’s personal data is deleted.

Access to Personal Data and Client Rights:

By contacting NetPro, the client has the following rights regarding personal data protection:

  • To access their personal data, specifying the time period and data they wish to obtain;
  • To correct or update their personal data held by NetPro;
  • To delete their personal data, specifying exactly which data to delete and providing justification;
  • To restrict (temporarily suspend) the processing of certain types of personal data or all data processing;
  • To stop processing their personal data;
  • To ensure the portability of their personal data.

NetPro will fulfill the client’s request if it does not conflict with NetPro’s obligations under existing regulatory acts or the terms of the contract between NetPro and the client.

The client can submit a request to exercise their rights:

  • In writing, in person at NetPro’s office address, by presenting an identity document and previously contacting the NetPro contact person;
  • By email, signing the request with a secure electronic signature.

Upon receiving the client’s request to exercise their rights, NetPro will verify the client’s identity, evaluate the request, and fulfill it according to regulatory acts.

If the client wishes to receive information containing personal data, NetPro will send a response to the client by mail to the specified contact address via registered letter or provide it personally, taking into account the client’s preferred method of receiving the response.

Client Consent for Data Processing and Rights to Withdraw It:

In certain cases, NetPro may process personal data based on the client’s consent.

The client can provide consent for personal data processing via email correspondence or e-portal.

The client has the right to withdraw their consent for data processing at any time in the same simple way as it was given.

In the event of withdrawal of consent, further data processing based on the previously given consent for the specific purpose will cease.

Withdrawal of consent does not affect the legality of data processing carried out during the time when the client’s consent was in effect.

After withdrawing consent for data processing, NetPro has the right to process those client data for which there is another legal basis for processing.

  • In case of any client objections, the client has the right to contact NetPro using the contact information provided in this Privacy Policy. Upon receiving a complaint or objection, NetPro will promptly review and address any deficiencies.
  • If the client is not satisfied with NetPro’s actions in reviewing objections or addressing deficiencies, the client has the right to contact the supervisory authority – the Data State Inspectorate (contacts: pasts@dvi.gov.lv https://www.dvi.gov.lv/en/contacts-authority).
